Fall Family Session at Island 22 | Chilliwack Photographer – Natalia Vaxman Photography

This fall family session at Island 22 Regional Park in Chilliwack had everything — golden light, a riverside backdrop, and a family who showed up in the most perfectly coordinated autumn tones.

We started with some couple portraits along the water before bringing their daughter in for family shots. The mix of driftwood, rocky riverbanks, and open shoreline gave us so many different looks within the same location.

What I love most about outdoor sessions like this is how naturally the moments unfold. A stolen kiss, a little girl perching confidently on the rocks, all three of them walking together through the fall leaves — it all just happens.

Island 22 is one of my favourite spots in the Fraser Valley for this time of year. The light near the water at golden hour is hard to beat.
